Today was my first post on KIC in awhile. Also, I finished another track. Tomorrow I have the day off, so hopefully I'll get some more work done on the album. Caleb (of Big Blood) suggested a name for it that I have changed slightly to satisfy my own disposition. I'm not going to reveal that now (not that anyone is really holding their breath). In other news, Guru of Gang Starr has suffered a heart-attack and is now in a coma. My thoughts are with him and his loved ones. I think I'll head downstairs to record a get-well-soon track. They are apparently performing surgery on him today, but details are scarce so I don't know much else. I'd better blast Daily Operation for good luck.
I believe I've come up with the concept for my post-Pretty Lies "big work." I'm getting ahead of myself, yes, but it can't hurt to be prepared (assuming the sun doesn't burn out tomorrow). What else? Oh, the new Gorillaz album is streaming here. Dig it. "Empire Ants" and "Broken" are the ones jumping out at me at the moment.
Last thing, I redesigned my bandcamp website to be more compatible with the artwork for the next album. The header provides the biggest clue to what it will look like. You can still hear my other album and the mix of demos there. Stay tuned for more.
